| I liked the "Cruce Signati" split, especially Pagan Assault's part... And about Svartkrig and Dyster, why mention it??? This sounds like a stupid polemic thread, just to say shit about bands you dislike (but Sombre Chemin didn't release anything on Drakkar, too bad isn't it?). Anyway, I have nothing to answer, since I don't order releases that I might dislike. |

| I actually do like doctrine from Sombre Chemin (too bad, isn't it ?) I bought theses stuff out of curiosity. Demo buying is about discovering bands for me, not cult items hunting. _________________ hatred & scorn !

| my opinion: speaking about CDs, only ANAON - Les Rites is really awful all other album releases are quite great, even if I'm not able to appreciate stuff like MYRKR/TSJUDER ... well produced and executed, but so derivative in my opinion Black Assault part on the split with BLACKSSTORM is one the worst thing I've heard ... Celtic Winter obvious ripoff, ridiculous clean vocals ... Empty: not bad at all, but sometimes so loooooong | Quote: | | This sounds like a stupid polemic thread |
quite the contrary, I think that's an interesting idea |

I prefer earlier stuff.

That's right.
Speaking of curiosity, I'd like to hear Hiver Noir without buying one of their tapes... |

I've already traded my tape, but I guess it's not that hard to find it somewhere else. _________________ hatred & scorn !

Why not buying one? There are 5€ tapes, not 10€ CDs or 15€ LPs... _________________ Plus de morgue, plus d'arrogance, Fuyez, barbares et laquais, C'est ici la porte de la France Et vous ne passerez jamais. Jules Cazol et Eugène Joullot, Verdun !! On ne passe pas..., 1917 ?

| Whether because I'm too stingy, or just because I think it's not worth spending 5€. For example, Zarach Baal Tharagh is real fun to hear, but Hiver Noir could be just shit that doesn't even make me laugh. |

| ZBT is great and insane Black-Metal, and the man behind this is surely more dedicated and honest than most of us. But well, about tapes, buy them in a bulk, like the 5 tapes for 20€ Drakkar does, or so. As Haunting Chant said, tapes are good to discover bands. _________________ Plus de morgue, plus d'arrogance, Fuyez, barbares et laquais, C'est ici la porte de la France Et vous ne passerez jamais. | i really don't understand what is shocking with hiver noir demos? i've got two of them, and it's not always well played, but who really cares? it's not a collection of mistakes though and the spirit - cause there's one to my mind - delivered from this demos is fucking good |

Dyster demo is a great stuff, much better than the last mutiilation shit
so, in my opinion pagan assault/blacksstorm is the worst shit released by Drakkar
never heard Hiver Noir |

| I honestly can't think of any. It's not just a suck-up maneuver, though. Maybe some things I couldn't get into, like Watain's second album, but it's far from bad. |

| the Anaon Mcd is a very good stuff, melodic as i like ! I am agree concerning Hiver Noir (i only know the 'Lethal's being music ' release). Ununderstandable production, bad mix and very low musicianship but we can listen some melodic efforts sometimes ... I don't like too the Tsjuder CD (i don't remember the name at all) Al the other releases i know are not bad and often good but not genius too (except Hirlorn and Nuit Noire)

I agree about the Lethal demo - there"s someting special there but the reh.2004 is absolutely terrible
at least this band isn't pretentious at all about their productions |
