1€ = 1$ Exchange rate for North/Central/South America ONLY!

There still seems to be a lot of confusion regarding the 1€ = 1$ exchange rate applied on the DRAKKAR webshop.

Here's how it works:

- 1€ = 1$ exchange rate is applied ONLY on mailorder items and NOT shipping.While we can accept tight margins on items, we cannot however afford to lose on shipping.

- shipping is adjusted according to exchange rate + tax that would go with exchanging currency. Today (17/05/2010) it has been adjusted according to 1€ = 1.30$.

- I cannot repeat this enough: 1€ = 1$ is ONLY available for North/ Central/ South american residents.
This does NOT INCLUDE Australia, New Zealand, Japan or European countries! Any attempt to pay in $ if package is not to be shipped to North/ Central/ South america will be charged a 5€ FEE for wasting my time and refunded the rest!

How to take advantage of the 1€ = 1$ exchange rate:

- simply place your order as you would usually, make sure you select country to ship to, and at checkout, select payment in USD.

Nope, d'ailleurs on compte bientôt ne plus accepter les USD, car on est beaucoup trop perdant... donc la seule devise acceptée sera l'EURO.

In the near futur, DRAKKAR will no longer offer the 1 USD = 1 Euro exchange rate on all items in webshop. We are at too huge a loss on the US dollar and do no expect it will get any better. The only currency that will be accepted will be the EURO.

Ohhh no, this is a really bad new. Please, I know is diffcult but consider very well this situation. Might be you can keep the same exchange rate for us on vinyl to take advantage in your excellente prices¡¡¡

We unfortunately have not much choice.

1 - We continue to sell our stuffs in US$ and most of the time we are loosing money on each order. Especially on LP's.
2 - We only accept orders in € and we know we'll loose 90% of our customers from North/South America.

This is a very difficult choice for us. So, enjoy this as much as you'll can before we'll change our policy.

If you keep the prices in 12 euro for LP, 10-12 euro aprox per CD or 5 for a Tape or 7"ep, still could be convenient, no matter if it' s euro or US dollar.

I mean, the prices are OK, and the service provided is more than satisfactory. Also, you are editing some of the best bands currently (Arghoslent, GBK reissues, Mefitic, Celestia) So it worth every single euro!!

The US Dollar is falling down, the Euro too. (At least here). So I dont mind, if you terminate up this advantage to us, the poor bastards from the Third World!
