| I had bad feedback on Korozia Metalla too...
Seems that they are nowadays much more in politics than in music, especially the singer.

| KORROZIA METALLA has some high and lows, but their early albums are really good Thrash-Metal, with some funny touches but really powerful!
I haven't heard their later releases but avoid the album "Kannibal" from 1990, that sucks a lot. The album "Nivht Kapituli(e)ren" from 1995 is great, with some funny/entertaining parts, but it's great for headbanging and it has it share of catching riffs and some darker ones too.

| I heard one track from the russian NSBM Band M8l8th, which was quite good. But I'm not much into the NS related stuff...
KORROZIA METALLA has a rotating swastika-spider-icon on their website........man, that's just too ridiculous : (.

| Just the early works of KORROZIA METALLA are good...the rest are SHIT!!! (I mean only "Orden Satani" and "Russian Vodka" deserve some attention).
I dont know many about russian bands, is an exotic scene to me hehehe, but i like bands such as Ithdabquth Qliphot (Great demo tape!!!) Branikald ("Stormheit" is one of the colder, dead and dark albums i've heard in my life) Aria (awesome HM band) and a couple of bands i forget at this moment, hehehe. Ahhh Blackdeath is nice too. |

| I'm glad it pleases you, eh, eh! "Russian vodka" is a rerecording of the track of the album with the same name. Try to track this one because it's surely their classic.
EDIT: ARIA are the Kings of Russian Metal. An album like "Blood for Blood" is far better than what IRON MAIDEN did at the same period (1991) IMO.

Yes, I've trade something for the Russian Vodka LP and the Orden Satani CD (+Holostoi Vystrel LP, a very good and original Death Metal thing). Looking forward to hear them. My taste of music is sometimes a little weird...

| Well, I know the topic is mainly about Black Metal in Russia but personally I don't think that's what they do best! All hails Russian Heavy Metal!!!
Check the early works of : MASTER ARIA
I also like these girls, young band but they rule : VOLNAYA STAYA |

| Hehe yes, these girls are a pleasure for the eyes but also for the ears! But it may not please everyone here as it is in the vein of bands like WARLOCK, VIXEN, PHANTOM BLUE, MALTEZE, CHASTAIN, etc... |

| Well, it's time for a try I guess! Russian bands always have that special feeling!
Anyone here into OBLASHNYJ KRAJ? Thanks to Mr Corroseum? I discovered this great folkish HR/HM band, and I'm stuck to their music since then.
