goatfire in drakkar?

I've read a interview with goatreich 666 in a webzine (don´t remeber wich one), where was said that italian black metal metal horde "goatfire" were signed to drakkar productions. Is that true, or just a rumour?

Is it a recent interview ?

I ask it since if that was true, I guess that Noktu would have talked about it in the "Drakkar section" of this board; or this topic mustn't be talked about before it gets official...?

well, the interview I told is a bit old, it remains from 2003, I guess... but one the topics discussed there was the releasing of goatreich 666 EP via drakkar, and it only saw the daylight a few time ago, so I´m not sure if the information registrared there can be neglected just because of it´s not "hot news"...

another thing: in "encyclopaedia metallum", a huge black metal index in the web, the page dedicated to "goatfire" also saids tha the band is signed to drakkar.

but don´t get me wrong, please... I surely doon´t want to start any kind of rumour or empty especulation; of course, if that issue is true, well will know at the right time - in fact, for me, it´s just a matter of curiosity, nothing else...

Let's say that we spoke with the band about this possibility. It was when their album was only released on LP version on Sombrero records(ger). I guess it was around 2001... Seems that Nicola has forget this deal... Well, too bad and hopefully Drakkar will work with his new killer band : Morbid Upheaval... More infos later.

when you say drakkar will hopefully work with morbid upheaval, you´re talking about something apart from the previous scheduled abigail/MU split 7"ep, right?
I mean, if I got that right, the plans are about a new opus too, right?

the topic title is misleading...

Here Nicola (Goatfire / Morbid Upheaval).
Things are as simple as this: If we were to record another full length this would have been released through Drakkar. There was no more full length after our first one. Things with Goatfire are hard to describe at the moment...
I can confirm that besides our (Morbid Upheaval) split ep with Abigail we will release something else under Drakkar's banner soon. I and Noktu agreed on the release of the Morbid Upheaval full length in vinyl version...I think that Noktu himself will keep you posted on this.
Both the track for the Abigail split (called 'Gyokusai') and the material for the split with Lust will be recorded in September.

I hope we will have change new Goatfire "black art pieces". No comment fo mu-sick! and "Sacrophobic Initiation" 's booklet is one of the best booklet in this fuckin scene. Total support this band.
