PRESS RELEASE 16th Dec. 2013
The French label Drakkar Productions has issued a 7" vinyl "Raiugem Ruunideks" recorded by Loits a decade ago.
Before recording the "Vere Kutse Kohustab" album ten years ago Loits tested three different studios with the aim of releasing the takes as a 7" EP-triology. The two first discs - "Legion Estland" (2003, Ledo Takas Records, Lithuania) and "Meeste Muusika" (2004, Searing Spear, Finland) - were released as planned before the album "Vere Kutse Kohustab". The third, however, was plagued with troubles that lasted to this day. Record labels disappeared or found a reason to delay until the band ran out of patience.
The rare (limited to 250 copies) third EP "Raiugem Ruunideks" was released by Drakkar Records and contains two more raw and cynical originals of the tracks "Tuleristsed" and "Raiugem Ruunideks" that also appeared on "Vere Kutse Kohustab" album. Both were recorded in the now defunct Guano Studio by Sven "Aksel" Varkel, known as the vocalist of the heavy metal band Herald.
