This album is most probably the best Drakkar release from 2007 (if we exclude the GBK and ARGHOSLENT rereleases), even superior to VROLOK's album IMO. The music is fierce and insidious, and needs time to get into now.
Its follows the more complex approach taken on the Southern Storm of Evil track.
For sure it's not an album for easy-listening, you must plunge into it to appreciate its qualities, but it's worth the time! But well, Black-Metal isn't meant to be easy listening songs, catchy mellow melodies, and choruses to sing along...
About Argentinian bands, I only know SATANACHIA AGLIARETH (with one GRIMA MORSTUA member if I remember well) but their demo didn't impress me a lot, maybe because I didn't give it much listening sessions.
